Visit Palestine

Return to Palestine in 1900. Walk its towns and meet the people who live there.

Controls
  • WASD to move, Shift to run, Space to jump; click the game to look around, Esc to release the mouse. Esc again, with nothing else open, or F10 opens the settings.
  • V changes the view: over the shoulder, first person, or centred behind. H shows the controls in the game, L the conversation history.
  • Hold T and speak, or press Enter and speak or type, to talk to the people near you, in any language.
  • F, then type what you do in your own words and press Enter: "open the door", "drink from the well", "sit on the bench". E opens or closes the door in front of you.
  • Hold G, say what you do, and let go (as F, by voice). Q does the last thing again at once, aimed where you look.
  • With the mouse captured: left click swings your sword, right click shoots an arrow.
  • Y confirms a plan, N cancels it, R saves a stable working as a recipe, 1 to 4 use saved recipes; J and K accept or decline a request. F4 shows your tasks: what you have taken on, what people offer, and where the markers lead.
  • I or Tab opens your things, B your crafting, P your status; X puts your weapon away or draws it, M mutes your microphone (players near you hear you).
  • O opens the map, there from the start: it shows the land you have been through and the places you have seen or heard of from people, and fills as you explore and talk. The compass at the top right turns as you look; on a tablet, the Map button or a tap on the compass opens the map.
  • These are the default keys. Any of them can be changed in the settings (Esc, then the Controls tab), and Return to Default puts them all back; the help in the game and the lessons name the keys you chose.
  • The player log at the bottom left lists what you tried and what came of it: what you picked up, the damage you dealt and took. Its buttons show only your own lines, your allies' or your foes', and Hide puts it away.
  • On a tablet: your left thumb on the left part of the screen moves you (push to the edge to run); drag anywhere else to look around. The buttons on the screen strike, shoot, jump, use, talk (hold) and act (hold); Say… and Do… at the top let you type.
